The white stork is the most popular bird in Poland. Storks are migratory birds, and when winter is coming they fly away to Africa. But they always come back to inform the Polish spring and that winter has already ended.
Storks build a very strong and durable nests. Often you can see them in Poland on electric poles. Storks are back to their nests, to be joined in the same pair, rebuild the office and have offspring. These slots, whose age scientists estimate at 400 years old!
Storks in Poland is very deeply rooted in culture. Old beliefs state that the storks take the souls of the people of Paradise (Wyraj). Overall, the storks were considered to be the birds that bring happiness. Parents often say to children that have been brought by the stork.
Art & Animals
A project made for pre-primary children and teachers. The aim is getting to know new plastic arts on the basis of artworks presenting animals - both home and living wild. Topics can be various - associated with the season, with physics stamps of animals (e.g. we are carrying out animals which they are pricking or large animals), with their usefulness, as well as differences between countries: what animals are appearing in Poland, and which in partner countries?

Bugs in the spring meadow
More and more colorful on the outside. Spring brought with it lots of flowers and greenery. The smallest inhabitants of our country take to work: flying from flower to flower, build an anthill, make honey and ... impress everyone with his beauty! Well, maybe not everyone ... at the sight of spiders enjoy only boys;)
we invite you to become familiar with insects: ants, bees, butterflies, ladybirds, spiders, caterpillars... :)

Rough frogs..
Already spring! More and more animals appear in the grass. We can hear the birds singing, and .. croaking frogs. It is worth watching these little critters. They are great jumpers, but also excellent swimmers. It should take an example from frogs to be healthy - jumping on the meadow every day and swim as much as possible:) Fortunately you don't need to eat insects.. ;)

Bears awake from hibernation - coffee and tea :)
Soon the spring begins. In our country it is a time when nature comes alive. Animals wake up from winter hibernation - including bears who are the heroes of our new artworks.
This time, instead of paint we use tea and coffee. Lemon juice is for lighten.
And what is going on with our foreign friends?
:D

Birds are hungry!!
Winter in Poland is very cold. Birds often starve, because they cannot find the food under the snow. Some birds are leaving to warm countries. It is necessary to help the ones which are staying to survive the winter. Feeding birds in this period is very important so people build the birdhouses.
Kindergarten pupils performed artistic works in order to remind people to feed the birds!
